Family-to-Family - a mentoring program for Hurricane Ike evacuee families
Family-to-Family is a program designed for faith-based organizations such as churches, congregations, houses of worship, and other organizations to mentor and advocate for displaced families, in this case, for those who have survived disaster. The Family-to-Family program for Hurricane Ike evacuees endeavors to encourage a time of prayer, healing, patience, new understanding, and most importantly... a uniting and strengthening of our community while nurturing and protecting vulnerable families with justice and compassion.
TIDR can host a training for Houses of Worship which are interested in assisting evacuee families. We very much look forward to your participation! Please call or email TIDR for more information.
